freeport--lucayan national park

anyone have any independent shore excursion groups they recommend for touring lucayan national park? unfortunately, our ship doesn't offer any excursions but we'd love to go there in december. We're in port from 9am-6pm and it seems that a lot of the tours I can find leave at 9am which obviously won't work. anyone have any recommendations?

 

Or for any other good shore excursions in freeport that don't involve swimming? i've booked a nassau biking tour through shoretrips.com but they don't have much for freeport. thanks!

We took the Shore Excursion that we booked with Norwegian, while we were on Sky, but I'm sure that the company that they used, has private tours as well. You can view the photos that I took during our Shore Excursion of the Caves and Beaches at Lucayan National Park at the link below. It has a photo of the tour bus with information on the side of it, which might help.

A few years ago, we went with grand bahama tours. We did the cave and kayak tour. It included lunch on the beach. We had a great time. Our guide was nice and told us a lot about the island and its history. It took about 6 hours, but we did a variety of things. At the end of our kayaking we came up on where they were actually filming Pirates of the Caribbean. We saw a couple of the ships and lots of pirates. They were only a short distance away.
