tell me about laundry on RCCL

anyone used the laundry service...what are the fees and timeline on getting the clothes back...would like to pack for 5 days on a 10 day cruise(O:

They will have a 'special' on 10-14-day cruises. On 2 different days there will be a flyer put in your room that will let you fill a bag for $8-10 that you leave for room attendant and it will be delivered clean and folded by the next morning.

The prices for laundry and dry cleaning are comparable or even better than what you would pay at home.

 

You can pay extra for next day service.

 

The bag of laundry is just for underwear, tee shirts, etc. They wash and dry them and send them back folded. Don't send anything that goes on hangers.

 

Q: Are laundry services provided?A: Self-service laundry facilities are not provided onboard our ships, but we do offer full laundry and dry cleaning services. We do not provide irons in the staterooms as they constitute a fire hazard.

We did the all you can fill bag, did not pay extra for speedy service, and had it back the next day or, once, that afternoon! They did a great job.
