Need Hotel suggestions

We are going to Cozumel in Jan for a week. We have never been there, so we have no idea where to stay.

Would like to be right on the beach.

Nice hotel.

Can be all inclusive or not.

We usually cruise but would like to stay for a while.

Would recommend checking out the Intercontinental. We got married there 8 years ago but they are usually pretty decent hotels.

While Cozumel Palace gets excellent reviews, it doesn't have a beach where the sand goes out into the water. The have a sandy area behind concrete retaining wall. The shoreline is all rock there.

 

If you want a sandy beach that goes out into the water, here are some suggestions: Melia and El Cozumeleno, Occidenatal Grand, Iberostar.
