kyao888 Posted October 22, 2008 #1 Share Posted October 22, 2008 Hello Y'all, I'm trying to book a room for my 2 month pregnant wife and her 2 girlfriends to the Dec 3rd Caribbean cruise on Infinity. I was wondering if anyone has a picture of the pull out sofa bed and how comfortable they are...what type of rooms come with a sofa bed? Is Concierge Class really worth the extra money? Thanks. celebrityprincess Posted October 22, 2008 #2 Share Posted October 22, 2008 I can't speak for the sofa beds on the Infinity, but I just returned from the Constellation. I slept on the sofa bed and it wasn't bad. The first night it was like sleeping on a rock, but I asked the room steward to put a pad on it and it was fine after that. It was actually more comfortable than the regular bed in the room.
Fblack Posted October 22, 2008 #3 Share Posted October 22, 2008 The sofa beds are not very good. Better off getting a cabin with 3 beds, even if one has to climb a ladder each night. It's still better than those sofa beds.
phoenix_dream Posted October 22, 2008 #4 Share Posted October 22, 2008 I definitely would not put the pregnant one on the spare! My son has much experience on the sofa beds on X and he is less than complimentary. Are they awful? No. Are they comfortable? Not very.
CruisinNewb Posted October 25, 2008 #5 Share Posted October 25, 2008 My kids who rotated sleeping on them said they were "ok". They are sofa beds so I don't think you can expect them to be as comfortable as a regular mattress. Ron
