Tropical Storm Ruby Posted November 2, 2004 #1 Share Posted November 2, 2004 We will be in Cozumel in Dec. We heard that we shoud grab a taxi and head straight to the "state park". Is this in reference to Paradise Beach? I have read about Paradise Beach and it sounds great. I understand it is $5 to have access to the water toys. Does this $5 include a chair? I have also read that for a price you can get a wrist band for open bar and/or food at paradise beach, is this true? If it is can you tell me what to expect for a fee for consumption? Sorry for all the questions we are justing trying to plan the most fun in our favorite area - Mexico!
CozSally Posted November 2, 2004 #2 Share Posted November 2, 2004 Wow! Lots of misinformation. First the state park is Chankanaab, not PB. The chairs and umbrellas are free at PB. There's no open bar at PB, but food and beverages are moderately priced compared to other beach clubs. No surprise to some, Paradise Beach is my first choice for a day at the beach in Cozumel. Tropical Storm Ruby Posted November 3, 2004 Author #3 Share Posted November 3, 2004 Thanks Cozsally - apparently I either didn't understand or was misinformed. Thank you for the info. At PB do you pay to use the water toys? Or is that misinfo. too? Thank you.
CozSally Posted November 3, 2004 #4 Share Posted November 3, 2004 That part is right... $5 for unlimited use of floating mats, sea kayaks, water trampoline and iceberg climb. Enjoy!
sea_u_onboard Posted November 3, 2004 #5 Share Posted November 3, 2004 Ruby - are you going to Montego Bay Jamaica? They have a nice all-inclusive (food, drinks and water-toys) there called Sunset Beach Resort. Go to the Jamaica board and you will find lots of great info on it also.
