the last cruise we went on someone had posted a car rental discount code that we used and got a car from Dollar really cheap. we flew into FLL and drove it to MIA and they had a free shuttle to the port. much cheaper than taxi or the shuttles. anyone have any to share?

From the departure boards the code being used lately is : KISS

 

Also, check online for an Orlando Magic card - it is free and gives discounts. Might want to check out the Departure board.

Hi Donna - the site I know about is www.rentalcodes.com. We are trying to get ourselves from FLL to Miami and have considered that method, but the savings don't appear to be that much.

If you go to mousesavers.com (a Disney dedicated site) to the rental car section, they generally have all "available to the public" codes. The Orlando Magicard code for Thrifty 004M001010 works all over Florida as does the KISS2 code for Dollar. I've also found good rates with Avis with J868801 in Florida.
