Lose Chops Res. When Re-booking??

I have a reservation with Chops and Portofino. I may have to cancel and rebook my reservation for the cruise. Do I lose my specialty restaurant booking or can they be transferred to the new booking number? They are already paid for.

Why would you have to cancel and rebook? If you completely cancel the reservation, then yes you would probably lose anything you've prebooked (like specialty restaurants or shore excursions).

Yes, you will lose the reservations when you cancel. You will need to make new reservations when you rebook.

I may switch from $US to $Can for the payment. Right now it will save about $1200. That is an incentive.

But I would hate to lose the restaurant bookings.

For $1,200 I would lose the restaurant bookings. Remember not all slots at the restaurants are available for booking online.
