Nothin' But Sun Posted October 28, 2008 #1 Share Posted October 28, 2008 One on my employees is going on the Ruby in Jan. I have cruised a few times but not with teens/young adults. What kind of things will he be able to do, odd age as he just turned 18 and obviously can not go to night clubs or kids activities, so where does that leave him? paul929207 Posted October 28, 2008 #2 Share Posted October 28, 2008 Hopefully, he will be able to hook up with some others his age. As you said he is too old for the kids program, but too young to drink or gamble. I think 18 year olds are allowed in the night clubs. Have they tried the roll call for their cruise? Might find someone his age thru there.
Nothin' But Sun Posted October 28, 2008 Author #3 Share Posted October 28, 2008 Roll call is a good idea, I already mentioned for him to go on this sight and check it out for that same reason but I think he is shy/to cool, if you know what I mean. What an odd age for anyone cruising. It seems like your in a sort of limbo state, can't do this and can't do that.
jenphan Posted October 30, 2008 #4 Share Posted October 30, 2008 i did not hear too much info on it .. but as i was playing in the arcade room at night ... i did see many kids hanging out together ... and the arcade is always an option. he can find a few friends and head to the game/card room for some board games. if not there's always food. Christapie Posted October 30, 2008 #5 Share Posted October 30, 2008 I think with 18 yrs, one can do anything except drink and gamble. I think the 18 yr. old will have a great time. So many young people to hang with, they will find each other. Christapie
