family cruisers Posted October 29, 2008 #3 Share Posted October 29, 2008 We returned from Bermuda last sunday 0ct. 26th. This was the third October in a row we've gone the same week. This year was just a BIT cooler than the last two years. The first year all week 80's , sunshine and humid. Year after that was PERFECT 80's sunshine, no humidity. This year high 70's , low 80's and cool/breezy at night. It was really beautiful. When we'd get off the ship in the morning it was very cool/windy but by the time we got to the beach (horseshoe bay) it was hot and sunny. The water temps were fine, I enjoyed it so much. ysq Posted November 1, 2008 #5 Share Posted November 1, 2008 I was at Horseshoe Beach this week and they had the warning sign about strong riptides. The wind would kick in periodically so you got a complimentary pink sand microdermabrasion.

celbercrz333 Posted November 10, 2008 #10 Share Posted November 10, 2008 We cruised from NYC to Bermuda on Celebrity Zenith on October 11, 2003 and on our first night out we hit tropical storm Marty. Be warned that it's hurricane season until Nov. 30th. We still had fun and will remember that the rest of our lives. It was our first cruise ever.
