IT seems several of the cruise lines including RCCL are making adjustments to the fuel charge... we have our 2009 cruise booked and wonder if there will be a change?

I couldn't find the sticky, so I guess it is gone, or I am blind. I went to http://www.celebritycruises.com and found the info. Here is the link to that statement.

 

Here's hoping that our cruise gets a rebate!

 

Does seem wrong though that we don't automatically get the refund just because we booked early.

Only Cruises booked On or After November 1st, for Cruises after January 1, **2010** will not be subject to the surcharge. For 2009 sailings, everyone will be subject to the surcharge, depending on the price of Oil.

 

In other words, if you are booked for 2009, you arent being penalized more than anyone else. If Oil stays at current levels, we will all be happy Cruisers. Keep in mind, that if Oil should skyrocket again, 2010 sailings could be subject to future surcharges.

 

All we can do at this point..... is hope Oil prices stay at or below current levels.
