Anyone SICK after fos 10-12-08 to 10-19-08

My husband and I just returned from Fos on 10-19-08. we have been extremely sick with an upper resp. infection since. just curious if anyone on this cruise also has been really sick? our symptoms started on the saturday before disembarkation. we are going on 3 weeks now. it has been diagnosed as a viral infection. we used those sanitary wipes constantly.

I was not on that cruise, and many things are possible.

 

Did you fly to and from Miami? Airplanes are a far likelier source for picking up a respiratory virus from someone else. But it can happen anywhere.

 

For instance, I work in a "germ factory", a.k.a., a school.

I would pose the question on your 'roll call' ...

Last May after our Ultimate Alaska 14 cruise MANY of us came down with a resperatory illness. We all posted back on the roll call and compared symptoms. Some were sick for many weeks with a the virus. We learned that the following week the ship had to undergo a thorough disinfectant cleaning.
