First price drop ever!

Wow I did not expect anything because our cruise is not until 12/09, but called anyway for the 1 day sale. Got $140 off our price and I though we had a good price from the start from booking so early, now if the fuel charge goes away when the time comes I will be extra happy.

My 2010 cruise price has already gone up (just yesterday). I am sure it's to offset the fact they won't be adding fuel surcharges to new bookings after 10/31 (for 2010 sailings).

We got some great price reductions on our 3 cabins as well. It never hurts to call just to check! I thought we'd get some OBC, but was thrilled with the price reduction.

OBC is provided if lower rates are happening....AFTER final payment has been made. Either way... YOU WON ! :cool:

The one day sale was Oct 30. More likely, OP's cruise just had a price reduction. Either way she saved some money. Just check your booking(make a dummy booking) on Carnivals website and compare it to what you already booked.
