3 night vs. 7 night - Will I enjoy it more?

Recommended Posts

The only cruise I've been on is the "booze cruise" to Ensenada. It wasn't something I wish to do again, although certainly it had some good points. I've booked a 7 night Alaskan cruise and am hoping that it will be better. What do you think?

With the Enenada cruise, people go to BE the wildlife. In Alaska, people go to SEE the wildlife.

We've done Alaska twice and it definately didn't qualify as a booze cruise. We found it to be so enjoyable the first year we did it again the next year.

I never have been to Alaska, but yes I do believe that a 7 day is much better than 3 day. With the week long cruises you have the time to become comfortable with the ship and 7 days allows for passengers to build friendships with fellow passangers as well as the crew which I believe is one of the best parts of cruising. Im sure this time around you will not want to leave. Happy Sailings!

It depends on what you did not like about your 3 night. If you didn't like the party atmosphere of the booze cruise or if you simply thought it was too short, you will be much happier on a 7 day cruise.

The atmosphere will be totally different and you should have a great time. Alaska is a fantastic place.
