CARNIVAL TAKES HOME 11 PORTHOLE ‘READERS CHOICE’ AWARDS; WINS MOST AWARDS FOR SIXTH YEAR IN A ROW

 

MIAMI (November 3, 2004) – Once again, Carnival Cruise Lines was the big winner in Porthole Magazine’s “Readers Choice” awards, taking top honors in 11 different categories – the most of any cruise line for the sixth consecutive year.

 

Since the awards were established in 1999, Carnival has earned 61 “Readers Choice” awards – more than any other cruise line.

 

Porthole’s “Readers Choice” awards are based on write-in and e-mail surveys from thousands of the publication’s readers.

 

Carnival’s 2004 awards include:

• Best Alternative Dining Room Cuisine

 

• Best Children's Programs

 

• Best Entertainment

 

• Best Overall Facilities for Physically Challenged Passengers

• Best Onboard Activities

 

• Best Disco

 

• Best Party Ship
