Solo luggage drop off at Port Everglades??

I've seen that groups often drop off several members with luggage, then someone goes and returns the rental car.

My question -- As a solo cruiser, can I drive into the port area, drop off my own luggage with a porter, then go return my rental car?

Has anyone seen that happening (on Holland America at Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale). Thanks!

I wouldn't think it should be any different than if you were going to park there. And if questioned, tell them that is what you are doing. Then after you have dropped the luggage, just exit the port and return your car.
