Enchamtment newer cabins?

Which cabins are in the new part of the ship and why are they supposed to be better? I remember reading about this a while back.

Hi we were in 7077 last year which was in the newer part of the ship. It was the opposite side of the Centrum from the dining rooms and theatre. I do not know how far back it extends but am aware the pool area is all new.

 

The rooms were lovely and the shower room had a fixed door. I believe the older cabins may still have shower curtains looking at members photo's.

As the previous poster said, thats about it. The only way you would even be able to tell you were in one of the newer cabins is by the shower door vs. the curtain. There is nothing "better" about them, alot of people just have this mind set of newer = better.

New cabins are those ending with 068 to 083 and 568 to 583. For inside cabins also include 877 to 881 on decks 3 and 4.

Just add the deck # for the first digit.

Okat, thanks for the replies. I'd have to go to a cat D-1 to get them, so i'll keep the location I have now. I don't mind the curtain so much.

Looking at the current decks plan and comparing it to a prestretch one, the D1 cabins (8068 to 8082, 8568 to 8582) on deck 8 outlines the new section. Prior to the stretch there were not any D1s on deck 8.
