NO priority tender tickets on The Sky for Latitudes Gold and Platinum !

Just back from a three day on The Sky. First time on the Sky since Jan 2004.

Had a decent time, the cruise met our expectations, review to follow.

Anyone who has ever been to Great Stirrup Cay knows that the earlier that you arrive ashore, the better the chance of a choice location or snagging an umbrella and a fullsize lounge.

One of the best benefits of being a Gold or Platinum Latitudes member is the ability to get priority tender tickets, especially when visiting Great Stirrup Cay.

We inquired about onboard where to get priority tender tickets for GSC at reception and also with the onboard cruise consultant Rusty. Imagine our surprise when we were told that NCL does not give out prioriy tender tickets.

We explained that ever since hitting the Gold level we have received priority tender tix specifically at GSC, and that the Latitudes benefits as posted on the NCL web site expressly list this benefit.

The response from the staff on board was disapointing to say the least. Their rationalization was that the tenders are so big and leave every 15 minutes, there is no need for priority tender tickets.

Come on NCL, be consistent with your Latitudes program. At least educate your staff or give them a more respectable response to work with.

It appears that Latitudes 2.0 and all it's promise is just the opposite of expectations.

First they are ending the Latitudes credit card program. (And cut the crap with trying to tell us that the new program is improved and better, what a crock)

Second, it appears priority tender tickets are now history as well.

What's next? Baggage charges for bringing luggage on the ship like the airlines do? (Oh crap..I hope I did not give them a new revenue raising idea)
