Excursion Filled

Tried to book online for Carnival's Wallace River /Altun Ha excursion ( Valor sails 1/4/09). There are apparently very few excursions left and of these not one appeals to us. Realistically, what are our options ? We are a little concerned about going privately and missing the last tender. Any ideas ? Thanks.

I think you should contact a private operator and allow them to win your business and confidence. You might be pleasantly surprised.

We did Altun Ha and city tour. Really, the time at Altun Ha is very short, maybe 45 minutes. It's hot and sticky there as well as there are mosquitoes everywhere (I took Off wipes which really worked). We were on Glory 1-8 Nov and be aware there was a tropical storm north of them a few weeks ago and the highway up to Altun Ha is partially flooded. The water doesn't drain very quickly and they are working on it slowly. It took extra time to get back to the ship. We got back over an hour later than we should have.
