Does anyone know about balconies on the Crown and Ruby princess?

I am looking to find which decks have covered balconies.

Thanks!

K

Recently off the Crown. Completely covered balconies are on Baja and Aloha; Caribe has larger balcony but half covered; half exposed.

Same as grand class ships Caribe has the bigger balcony half covered half open and Dolphin is all open. All the rest are covered.

Remember if you want a covered deck so no one can see you if you can look down and see someone they can look up and see you. Also the bridge can see all the balconies on the sides.

How are the balconies on the Riveria deck - covered?
Covered but one thing to be careful of on Riviera deck is that you're directly underneath public deck areas, either the buffet or pool and there could be noise early in the morning and/or late at night.

Also, the mini-suites on Emerald deck are completely covered.

we were on the Crown 2 weeks ago and were on riviera deck. There was alot of noise from the deck above but if you get a cabin in the 600's or 700's you won't get all the noise because the buffets are above them. we were in 510 and the pool was above us and you could hear deck chairs being drag early in the morning. We do like this deck because it's easy to get to the buffets and open deck area's without needing the elevators.

We just got off of the Crown and had an exposed balcony on Dolphin deck. We loved and will book Dolphin deck on our next cruise.
