Tourist Info in Santiage - Easy to find???

I will be renting a car in Valprasio and driving around and sightseeing on my own and then going to Santiago and the Andes and then to the airport 2 days later. Is there tourist information and maps available at easy to find locations? I find the maps on the internet not very detailed. If yes, is there any charge for the maps? I would need detailed street maps and maps showing roads into the Andes.

Thanks for any advice on this, Rick

Just got back from Santiago, stayed a couple of extra after Radiance cruise. Of all the cities visited in S.A. this seemed to be the easiest to get around and traverse. Roads are in great condition and many byways. Shouldn't have a problem with the map - the rental company should have a good one - I think you'll find the roads here much like they are in Western Europe.
