Solstice - formula for configuration of balcony room?

I don't think sofa beds enter into the equation. The aqua class cabins don't have sofa beds but the bed location still alternates between bath or balcony. I think it is based on the way the walls curve in each cabin.

I was a bit upset over receiving my cabin right over the lifeboats (although not directly in front of our cabins as far as I can see on the deck plan and was told).

 

However, having a bit larger balcony will help me feel better.

We have 6228 and 6330 both look like they are over smaller lifeboats ?/

does any one have thoughts on my summation ??
