Does the coffee card include specialty coffees with alcohol?

We have never tried to use it for that, but I suspect you would get your coffee for free, and then pay yourself for the shot of whatever you had added to it.

Unfortunately, no. We keep wanting them to sell a bloody mary card like the Coke one, only use a tomato sticker!!:D

Are the specialty coffees on Princess as good as Starbucks - specifically the mocha frappicino?

The quality of the coffee drink depends on who is making it on ship. In general, I didn't think the speciality drinks were better than Starbucks line places on shore. The real bargain is the drip or brewed coffee which is unlimited and does not require a punch. Also, the card can be used on the last day if you still have punches left(inspite of the fact that they say all purchases are on a cash basis.

Can anyone tell me if this coffee bar onboard sells latte versions of teas as well such as Starbucks similar Chai Tea Lattes and Green Tea Lattes?

We don't go for the frozen coffees and happen to think that 'special' coffee without a shot of Bailey's isn't all that 'special'. LOL!

Do they punch your card for fresh brewed ice tea? What about hot chocolate? I'm looking forward to the iced coffees also and I'm sure they will punch for that!

Fresh brewed coffee is not free. Specialty coffee is not free. The stuff they serve in all diningrooms, room service and buffet is free.

If the ship has the ability to brew coffee at the various bar locations, and/or you really want "speciality" coffees, then the card is worth it. If you don't drink the "special coffees" and what they don't make fresh brewed in the bar areas, then it isn't worth it.

 

Again, we investigate the bars to see if they make coffee there and if they do, we get another card because that coffee is unlimited. The "special" coffees are one per punch on the card.

Your coffee card is good forever, as long as you keep one punch open. All international cafe bars have fresh brewed coffee, as do the lobby bars on the ships that have not yet "built" the International Cafes.
