Hatty324 Posted December 2, 2008 #1 Share Posted December 2, 2008 Just wondering, for a western carib cruise (Ocho Rios, Grand Caymen, Cozumel) do I ever need to worry about exchanging american dollars for whatever dollars of the country I am visiting? Does the ship offer this, or do I need to do this once I land?

bhopal21 Posted December 2, 2008 #3 Share Posted December 2, 2008 USD are accepted in all those places gladly, just don't expect change in anything other than local currency. With that being said, we usually carry small bills to purchase souvenirs at ports. If you make a significant purchase use a credit card and it will be converted on your receipt.
