Port info for Anartica cruise on Star Princess

We are sailing Feb 14th on the Star Princess Cruise from Buenos Aires to Santiago. Does anyone have suggestions about the ports - go them alone? take excursions? etc. Thanks

You'll probably get better responses on the South America forum for the ports of call. Here, you'll likely get someone telling you that you'd be better off with a ship that does landings. :rolleyes:

I have selected the ship excursions based on my research on the net - other than the falklands, the ports do not have a lot to offer
