Is There a Eurodam San Juan Sailaway Party?

Does anyone know if there is a sailaway party when Eurodam leaves San Juan?

 

Less than 2 weeks until we sail!

There always is a sailaway party on deck weather permitting.

But what do they do for this day (Tuesday) specifically? Is there a special buffet? Chocolate fountains?

 

We are thinking of holding our own sailaway party for this day but might not want to if there is something else going on.

Yes, ours (10/25 sailing)was a night departure from San Juan. Many people were on deck to see the city lights. I can't remember about the food and drinks, but there is a good bar on the aft deck and it was busy until we cleared the harbor.

 

That departure was one of the highlights of our cruise.

A night time sailaway from San Juan is loverly.

The aft deck is the best location. It is usually busy, but less crowded than other railbird options.

 

Veendam had a small combo playing sailaway music. They were playing Glenn Miller with a saxophone lead.

 

Not very Caribbean, but apropros for a HAL ship. :p
