A new free bus service was launched today in Sydney according to this article

It will only be in the main part of the city but it beats walking and its FREE. It will be good for tourists. It should be much like the free tram in Melbourne which is great for tourists.

That will be nice. Any idea exactly what the route will be?

The free bus service (route 555) will do a continuous loop between Central Station and Circular Quay along George and Elizabeth Streets in both directions. The service will operate approximately every 10 minutes from 9.30am until 3.30pm Monday to Friday (until 9pm on Thursdays) and from 9.30am until 6pm on Saturday, Sunday & public holidays (excluding Christmas Day).

Cheers

Bob

Wow! This really is quite an awesome thing. I was in the city yesterday and wish I had known about it... it would have saved a lot of walking. We'll definitely be using this on Sunday/Monday. Thanks for posting!
