wildweston Posted December 3, 2008 #1 Share Posted December 3, 2008 Hi guys as I'm new to this site and have not been on my first cruise yet, I have been reading all of what you all have to say (trying to understand your cruising lingo), and I just have to say you all know what your talking about especially when it comes to your great prices. What I want to know is where do you get them, on the net, or is there a specific site/company you call to get a good deal. If this is a top secret for you cruisers only please forgive me. MargnGrah Posted December 3, 2008 #2 Share Posted December 3, 2008 Hi There Wildwestern, No there are no secrect T/A for us CCer's but we are unable to discuss any T/A on these boards.....Part of the terms and conditions.:( All I can suggest to you is that you google on-line travel agents that specialise in cruising. Others on these boards have a good relationship with their local travel agents and are offered good deals at times. I have also been given a couple of good deals direct with P&O, and have been quite happy with them. Good luck with your search.:)
rugbypopsie Posted December 3, 2008 #3 Share Posted December 3, 2008 The best bet is to read the travel sections and search net for good cruise companies (have they won awards is a good indication) suscribe to their newsletters....read cruise critic...you are well on your way.:p
CruisinJulz Posted December 3, 2008 #4 Share Posted December 3, 2008 Hi Cheryl Welcome to CC. I'm fairly new myself, but having done 2 cruises in this year, I've become seriously addicted to cruising, so watch out - 1 cruise and you are hooked.:D I've just booked another cruise for next July ....arghhh - hubby shaking his head saying, how can we afford it when we are already planning a cruise in April 2010, to celebrate eldest son's 21st. That's how addictive it is - I'm foregoing the new ensuite, just to get on a ship again soon. And there is no medication for this kind of addiction!!! Seriously, its the best kind of holiday. regards Amanda
Host Walt Posted December 3, 2008 #5 Share Posted December 3, 2008 You may want to check Cruise Critic's page devoted to helping First Time Cruisers. You'll find a topic in the list on the lower left that will help you find the right travel agent, and you will also find a plethora of other helpful information. And please note as others have previously mentioned that we do not permit discussions about specific travel agents on the message boards for a variety of reasons that are discussed in the Cruise Critic Community Guidelines. Welcome to Cruise Critic, to cruising and to the great group of Australian and Kiwi Cruise Critic members on this forum. I'm sure you'll become as much a cruise fanatic as the rest of us.
