Arrival Time In Vancouver?

It sounds doable as the port is about 1/2 hour away by car.

Note that several flights from Asia will also hit YVR at that time and the result is a LONG line at immigration. You can avoid this line by participating in US Direct which will take you straight to the ship.

I sure wouldn't count on US Direct. The rules have changed almost every year. First year (about 2005-2006 cruise season)-anyone that was a US citizen was eligible with a cruise ship transfer.

Then it was only those on participating airlines. Then it was those on participating airlines and participating cruiselines. Last summer, it was participating airlines, participating cruise lines AND participating ships. AND you couldn't sign up for the ship to YVR US Direct transfer UNTIL you were on the ship.

To the OP:

While it may be "doable", you are really taking a chance. One little glitch-late plane, missed connection, late luggage, traffic accident, etc. etc-you MAY miss your cruise. You are REQUIRED to be onboard AT LEAST 90 minutes before sail away. Some lines REQUIRE 2+ hours.

If you book this flight, buy GOOD third party travel insurance. You may need it.
