nvcruise Posted December 8, 2008 #1 Share Posted December 8, 2008 We are about to book a family reunion on Infinity out of Seattle this summer. Which side would be most advantageous? Port or Starboard?
nothriver Posted December 8, 2008 #2 Share Posted December 8, 2008 Is it round trip? Take a look at the map that shows the itinerary and whichever side of the ship seems to be closest to the shore most often is what I'd choose.

Rare tupper10 Posted December 8, 2008 #4 Share Posted December 8, 2008 The first time we went we did Port - but really you are just going up and turning around for this cruise so you what you don't see going up you will see coming back since it is a round trip. It is more important to get the correct side on the one way trips. On our one way we wanted to see the whale migration which we knew would be more on the left side of the ship - and we were correct. Our cruise was in late August. For the Hubbard Glacier you just go up on deck so you can see the entire thing - don't stay in your room. We have booked an aft room for this same cruise and we are looking forward to it. If you can still get an aft room I would try for one. I haven't been but from reading these boards everyone has said if they are available to go for it - which is what we did.
