Dgonza Posted December 10, 2008 #1 Share Posted December 10, 2008 Hey everyone, I have been on two cruises before and not on carnival. I do not drink alcohol (or gulp, swallow, chug down etc.....lol )This will be my Fiancee's first cruise and she does drink. So, I was wondering what are the prices of drinks onboard. Thanks!! kyrisong1 Posted December 10, 2008 #2 Share Posted December 10, 2008 I can't tell you exact but I can tell you approximately 7 dollars for a specialty Drink of Day (in a specialty glass) or 5 bucks in a regular glass. Premium alcohol is going to be more. Hope this helps!!! Carole

meldam Posted December 10, 2008 #4 Share Posted December 10, 2008 Try going to http://www.seauonboard.com/cruise101_files/BEVERAGES%20AND%20ALCOHOL%20031308.pdf It was last updated on 3/12/08 so it should still be current. That site also has a lot more useful info about Carnival including a sample menu, sample Capers, Spa price list, etc. Just go to http://www.seauonboard.com and click on 101 - The Basics. Or you can click on your specific cruise ship for other info. I hope this helps. -Cheers, meldam

dstephens0911 Posted December 10, 2008 #6 Share Posted December 10, 2008 My PVP provided me with the price list for wines for my cruise (the Valor in March). Unfortunately, they don't have Pinot Gregio or Meritage. My wife and I always enjoy a nice bottle of Pinot Gregio in the morning, and we really prefer the Meritage throughout the day. For the reds, the selection is pretty low-end, which will either keep the drinking to a minimum or increase the need for smuggling. Asti, Martini & Rossi - $24 bottle Noet & Chandon, White Star - $69 bottle Korbel, Brut - $24 bottle, $6 glass White Zinfandel, Woodbridge - $21 bottle, $5.25 glass White Zinfandel, Beringer - $23 bottle, $5.75 glass Sauvignon Blanc, Nobilo - $27 bottle, $6.50 glass Fume Blanc, Robert Mondavi - $31 bottle, $7.75 glass Chardonnay, Woodbridge - $20 bottle, $4.75 glass Chardonnay, Georges Blanc - $25 bottle, $5.75 glass Chardonnay, Meridian - $28 bottle, $7 glass Chardonnay, Beringer - $31 bottle, $7.50 glass Pinor Noir, Georges Blanc - $25 bottle, $5.75 glass Merlot, Columbia Crest - $25 bottle, $7 glass Zinfandel, Fetzer - $24 bottle, $6 glass Shiraz, BLack Opal - $25 bottle, $6.25 glass Cabernet Sauvignon, Woodbridge - $20 bottle, $4.75 glass Cabernet Sauvignon, Meridian - $28 bottle, $7 glass Champagne Mimosa - $6 glass Champagne Cocktail - $6 glass I'm sure these prices do not include the automatic tip. Those are the wines you can get in the bars/lounges, in the dining room the wine list is very extensive, probably well over 100 choices.

I think you'll find it on all the ships. ken

spikester Posted December 10, 2008 #14 Share Posted December 10, 2008 That is a great website link! I think the prices are a little higher now though. I thought the DODs on my last cruise were $7.95 and the Miller lights were $5.00. And on some ships they refill the DOD glass everywhere, and sell buckets of beer everywhere. But that could just be because my last 3 cruises have been the "weekend party" type cruises...:D I am going tomorrow, so I will try to get a menu from the Destiny. Kurbanfan Posted December 10, 2008 #15 Share Posted December 10, 2008 And on some ships they refill the DOD glass everywhere, and sell buckets of beer everywhere. Unless they changed it........they only sell buckets at the lido deck bar and casino bar.........
