Can we do Las Caletas on our own?

Can we get there on our own and pay an admission fee? Or do we have to go through a broker/cruiseline?

No since you can only get there by ship. The place is owned by vallarta adventures.

Either book through a broker or your cruiseline.

We were just there last week. The boat ride over was about 1 1/2 hours and was really nice. The crew tries to be funny and keep you entertained. We did the Sea Lion snorkel. It was somewhat structured as some reviewers have mentioned but we had a good time.

You Mean the Cruise to the Resort was 1 1/2 hours to get there? and back I assume?

The boat ride out there was 1 1/2 hours since you go more along the shore to sightsee a bit. The ride back was about 45 minutes since they go more directly back to the pier.
