We booked this fall and we'll ask for the best deal available right before our final payment is due. You can ask and you should get the better deal too. familyof4cruising Posted December 14, 2008 #5 Share Posted December 14, 2008 Any word on this sale. I have final payment due this week and would maybe upgrade if the OBC is a good deal.
nycruiser80 Posted December 14, 2008 #6 Share Posted December 14, 2008 That's OK. We booked this fall and we'll ask for the best deal available right before our final payment is due. You can ask and you should get the better deal too. Be careful sometimes it is for new bookings only and you will not be entitled. Remember if your sailing is full right before final payment is due you will not get a price reduction. If your sailing is not full then the fares maybe lower and then you can see if you can get the better fare (so long its not for new bookings). I have been a TA for 10 years and what I have learned is that it is simple economics: supply and demand.
ugen512 Posted December 14, 2008 #7 Share Posted December 14, 2008 I just looked it over... Can't disclose the T&C yet but people should be happy.

Arwenmark Posted December 14, 2008 #10 Share Posted December 14, 2008 I am going to be onboard the 20th thru 27th and had planned to book some trips onboard. Wonder how this will affect that? should at least get the OBC from the deal I would think wouldn't you? deposit is already lower for on board booking. cruisecap Posted December 14, 2008 #12 Share Posted December 14, 2008 Do you have to book directly through NCL or can you use a TA?

Dukegirl5577 Posted December 14, 2008 #14 Share Posted December 14, 2008 I just booked last week and have only paid the deposit, but not the final payment (which isn't due until next month). Will it be possible for me to take advantage of this sale? I've seen that people have been able to in the past, but one of the posters above said it's only for new bookings. How would this work? Is it possible to cancel and rebook if I want to take advtange of the sale or is that not necessary?
Arwenmark Posted December 14, 2008 #15 Share Posted December 14, 2008 It is possible to cancel and rebook but that may not be necessary call your TA or NCL if you booked direct and ask for it.

Partyatsea Posted December 15, 2008 #25 Share Posted December 15, 2008 Arwen just so you know we just got of the Gem 12/13 and the cruise consultant was unable to book us a cruise onboard, all he really does is sell the cruise rewards program.
