firhill Posted December 15, 2008 #1 Share Posted December 15, 2008 Onboard credit has no cash value; may be used for all onboard charges except in the Casino or toward service Charges. Onboard service charges are additional and will be automatically added to your onboard account. Onboard Credit is applied to the 1st and 2nd guest on the reservation Based on the above, can OBC's be used towards anything but the casino? Can it be used to cover the $11 pp/day tipping ? Thanks for any info.
ketzelacruising Posted December 15, 2008 #2 Share Posted December 15, 2008 Just got off the phone with my PCC. As of December 15 ( today!) NCL is instituting a new policy where OBC can be used for ANYTHING- shore excursion, spa, casino, autogratuity,photos,restaurants- she read me the entire list but I didn't write them down. Basically they had received enough "feeedback" concerning restrictions of OBC and have taken the restrictions away. Enjoy!
*Wink* Posted December 15, 2008 #3 Share Posted December 15, 2008 Firhill, I think you meant "$12 pp, per day" for the gratuity, staring in '09. "Service Charges" means gratuity.
