Live4cruises Posted December 16, 2008 #1 Share Posted December 16, 2008 Has anyone bumped off this trip (or Liberty's Europe season for that matter) been able to get a refund of independently-booked air fare from Carnival? Our TA (bricks and mortar big local agency) has been getting quite the runaround from them, and I was curious about others' experiences. bp traveler Posted December 17, 2008 #2 Share Posted December 17, 2008 We had our Baltic cruise on the Liberty cancelled and it took over a month or more to get our money. I did hound them and had to send in way more documentation than should have been necessary. We were only asking for $150 the cost for re-depositing our frequent flier miles. Also another gal on our sailing was refunded her full ticket fare. Good luck and call Carnival yourself and ask them exactly what they want and follow up in a few days!
