CaptainChoppers Posted December 17, 2008 #1 Share Posted December 17, 2008 DH and I are thinking about taking back to back 3 or 4 day cruises on the Sky next summer. A couple of questions: Does this count as one cruise towards latitudes total cruises or two? After the first cruise docks in Miami, do we have to get off the ship and re-do the entire embarkation and disembarkation process, such as taking our luggage off, having to wait until 2:00PM to get to our room, etc? Any help is appreciated. Thanks!:)
IWORK2CRUISE Posted December 18, 2008 #2 Share Posted December 18, 2008 Does this count as one cruise towards latitudes total cruises or two? This should be 2. After the first cruise docks in Miami, do we have to get off the ship and re-do the entire embarkation and disembarkation process, such as taking our luggage off, having to wait until 2:00PM to get to our room, etc?You are usually expected to get off and reboard at some point. Some have been required to get off at or by a certain time. We did a B2B in Sept. and treated San Francisco as a port stop. It was great to re-board as we bypassed all lines and walked on. If you have the same cabin for both voyages you have no packing or transferring. Others have posted that they had cabin changes and that the stewards assisted in moving their belongings. Also, if you have the same cabin you will likely not have to visit guest services to obtain a new sea pass for the second leg. Any help is appreciated. Happy cruise!
