My DW asked me a question and I did not know the answer, BUT I know where I can find out...:)

What services are complimentary and what services do you have to pay for?

What type of services are you referring to? If you are talking about things such as massages, hair styling, manicures etc., none of it is free. There is gym and it is free to work out on your own (variety of weights and cardio equipment) or you can pay a fee to do a class (i.e. spin, yoga) or pay for a personal trainer session. I don't think there is anything free at the spa other than working out on your own at the gym.

What about the sauna and whirl pool?

All HAL ships have FREE saunas (seperated by sex) and hot tubs. Steam rooms and hydrotherapy pools etc. come for a fee.
