papillons4u Posted November 10, 2004 #1 Share Posted November 10, 2004 Hello, I was thinking of the sail out of new york on the legend. I have never sailded carnival before and was wondering if you all thought this would be a good choice for my children? Is it a fun ship for them with lots to do? Or is it more of a party ship for adults?? Would love to ehar from you. Thank you, Joyce
tnf Posted November 10, 2004 #2 Share Posted November 10, 2004 Our boys who are 14 and 11 have been on 2 carnival cruises and in one month from today they be on their 3rd. They love carnival! They really never cared for camp carnival so they just hang out and make friends by the pool. Of course we are right there sitting on the lido deck with them. MrPete Posted November 10, 2004 #3 Share Posted November 10, 2004 I have sailed with my 6 year old four times in the past 2 years. Twice on a Legend type ship, and twice on Disney. She had a ball on all four, and never needed to use the camps.
katgar Posted November 10, 2004 #4 Share Posted November 10, 2004 Having no children, I don't know all the activites, but this past March, Camp Carnival was part of the show where they sang "Candyman" ( I think the entertainer's name was Christopher Graves?) It was the one time we were allowed to take pictures.
