Tenders in Grand Cayman

Going to be stopping in Grand Cayman on the Miracle 02/20/05 cruise, and am planning our shore time. Scheduled arrival of ship in Grand Cayman is 7:00am; does anyone know how early the tenders start, and specifically, is it realistic to plan on being ashore by 8:15-8:30am? (When do lines for tenders start forming? When do they start boarding?)

The first people off the ship will be those that have purchased their excursions through Canrival. All others (at least on the Conquest) had to go to the Lounge with their party to collect tender tickets. This would give you a spot on the tender. After 10 tender tickets were not necessary.

 

I'm not sure if this is how it is on all ships. I know I would have liked this the last time we were on the Inspiration. We waited so long in the hallways (because the tenders were running late) that a woman in first of us passed out. We stood over ahour waiting to get off. So the tenders are not guarnteed to be there ready to go.

 

Maybe others can tell you if your tour time is realistic.

I did this on the Paradise and it was HORRIBLE!!!!
