Monkeys?

Are there really monkeys all over the island? And where is the best place close to the ship to see them?

there will be plenty of locals holding diapered babies for you to pose with for a "donation" when you get off the ship. Cockleshell had a local with a baby monkey he was sharing with everyone and the beach bar had a tiny one that was just orphaned in a large cage on the beach. Last year we saw them running everywhere in the wild and this year we saw none except the ones mentioned. They are adorable.

We took a tour with Thenford Grey and saw them all over the island. He told us that it is estimated that there are over 50,000 in the wild on the island.
