figi28 Posted December 23, 2008 #1 Share Posted December 23, 2008 We just got back from our cruise on the Pearl and we were on the 9th floor, balcony room...I have never had such a good night's sleep for the whole week! Does anyone know what the make and model is for these mattresses? Thanks!

Thanks! Hi. DW and I just got off the Pearl week before last and had a balcony room 9562. We wondered the same thing. We stayed at the Intercontinental Hotel in Miami pre-cruise and they had a very similar, (and comfortable) arrangement on the bed. We think it was more the featherbed on top of the mattress that made it so good. DW actually ordered one yesterday so when it gets here I'll let ya know! garycarla Posted December 23, 2008 #4 Share Posted December 23, 2008 Sometimes large customers get a "custom" mattress that you can not exactly match. Other times, like at Hyatt, they actually provide a price list to order it. Something that will NOT come with any mattress you order is the gentle sway of the ocean, which is part of the reason people sleep so well on the ship. We both wind up sleeping way later on a cruise than we do at home.
