Got an e-mail from Travelzoo this week about a good deal on the Crowne Plaza West Palm Beach. If you will have a car while in the area pre cruise it may be worth considering. Deal is good thru March w/ the exception of Jan 20-22. Normal rate is $200 a nite and the offer is for $89 a nite. AND if you book by 12/31 you get a $15 food and beverage credit for each nite you stay. Plus you can upgrade to a suite for only $10 more.

This hotel is very convenient to the airport and I-95. Although only about 2 miles from downtown WPB (where you will find an abundant of great restaurants, shopping, etc), there isn't anything within walking distance of the hotel (unless you want Burger King).

I understand that they have done a great job of renovating the hotel since it experienced severe damage during one of our little hurricanes a couple of years back.

Nice hotel...been there..mostly for business travelers but well appointed. I'd do it. You are also close to Cityplace which is a nice tourist venue, or Palm Beach.
