Winter Sailing - Bow or Stern?

We're looking at a December cruise next year LA-PV, and so far the cabin categories suggested are near the bow or the stern. We usually try to get midship cabins, but that may not happen this time around.

Can anyone recommend which we ought to choose?

Can't tell you why, but we generally prefer the front. If you are worried about rough seas, the lower deck, the better. Sometimes it is noisier in the back when the propellers come out of the water. Nancy
