question regarding car rental at FLL pier

can anyone tell me if we can rent a car at the FLL pier and drop it at ft. myers beach?

if so, how do we get to the rental car place from where we dock (on celebrity)?

we just did the rental car thing last week....

when you get off the ship, they have busses for each of the rental car places nearby...they will take you to their facilities to rent a car....

we chose alamo because it was the first one we saw upon exiting the ship....we only rented for 1 day so it really didn't matter which one to us...

i am not sure though about returning it to another facility...usually that's ok from past experiences, but i think i saw a sign at alamo that said you must return the car there....maybe someone else can clarify this for you....
