Ixtapa/Zijuan

I think I have it figured out for the Ixtapa port in Feb. 09.

See if I'm right, anyone?

Take a water taxi to Los Gatos Beach straight off the pier.

Snorkle, renting the equipment.

Water taxi back to Zijuan and shop at the local market, I believe it's called Mercado?

Anyone have any advice on any of this?

You're close....

The "local" market, where you buy souvenirs is usually called the Indian Market and it's a 5 minutes walk at best from the pier. The Mercado where you buy food is about a 15 minute walk from the pier.

At Las Gotas, look for Otilias which is next to the last restaurant on the beach, good food. If you want a massage there, look for Rosa at Sanricks restaurant....
