I can try and answer the question about the Austrian bread, because in the past three years I have been on Freedom, Liberty, Majesty and Mariner and yes, that awesome bread, which is my FAV is still there. It is the BEST. My sis has even mastered making it, since she has the RC cookbook. I do believe it is only put out for breakfast. I myself have never seen it down in the Royal Promenade cafe, has anyone else ever seen it down there?

Nothing like having it early in the morning with your coffee, while sitting out on your balcony, enjoying the "good life" of cruising. I think so many can relate to those awesome cruise memories.

BTW...I enjoy reading all your posts...hugs...b..:D

ps...last cruise was Liberty...June 08....

The pools are not heated.

Thank you both. I've passed on the information to the group so they will be aware. I think the raisin bread is going to be a BIG hit, can't wait to try it myself.

Those on board:

Make sure to stop and say "Hello" to Indi and Palo (the champion bar tender). Last I knew, they both were working in the Casino bar. They are fun, entertaining, and good all round guys. Tip them well and tell them Bob and Marc from the Dec 7th cruise say "hello." Picture of them with us from that cruise:

We have been three times on the Mariner and every time there was that Austrian bread on the Cafe Promenade and Windjammer in mornings. Our last Mariner cruise was Dec.7 2008.

Is there any feeling about how many pax will be on leg 2? Carol, have you met any who are leaving in Rio? Some of us are starting out there and it'll be interesting to see if the numbers change very much. I think I'd like empty elevators! Enjoy the sea days.

Trish

Trish........we are going to miss you on this board......unless, of course, you help Carol post from the ship!!:D

So, when you two leave for Rio???

Have I missed any questions?
Time permitting, ask Catur (I believe this is you cabin attendant) if he knows Natalie Samuel (another CA), ask where she works, and mosey by and tell her the Lanes from Dallas, TX say hello and give our love. We sailed with Natalie on Rhapsody several times and consider her to be our son Luke's shipboard God-mom.:D

Good Morning!

Now, could someone please kindly answer MillieMom's questions? As I've been reading through all the pages on a daily basis, I've seen her questions pop up time and time again as she patiently waits for an answer. She's always been polite, etc. but her questions are not being answered while others who post questions have them addressed either by other posters on this thread or those aboard the ship right away. Could someone help out MillieMom? I think I'd feel like I was being ignored.....Thanks

Have a wonderful 5 days at sea! By the way, I loved the rock story :D

The pools are not heated, except from the sun. I know I read somewhere that someone had already posted this, but I'm not going through a ton of posts to find it.

Thanks, Rick! Jim and I leave for Rio Friday night, so we have some of Sat., Sun., and Mon. morning there. And we're getting excited! We have plans with Paul and Carol (prdancer) and Belinda and Rick (MsDolly) in Rio. It's going to be great to meet our on-line friends. Soon you and the leg 3 gang will start packing. Hopefully Bobbie will be over her cold before you come aboard.

Thank you. Our friends are going to be thrilled. It's her favorite.

Thank you. I did see the post this morning, but hadn't seen it before then. I may have missed it earlier, the only one I had seen was that the water in the pools was salt water. I've really tried to stay on top of the thread and have been posting information to the group I'm sailing with in April. Everyone is so excited about going, just can't wait.
