Is there any place on the QM or close by that you can buy a bottle of wine. We will be taking the super shuttle there from LAX for a pre cruise stay and dont believe the SS will stop for us to buy wine or will they?

We plan to visit the QM next April (won't be staying there overnight) while visiting CA and would love to hear about your stay when you return.

Our room on the QM was quite a bit larger than what it appears smoothdancer had. Here's a photo we took standing in the small hallway that led to the two porthole windows, looking towards the beds (the bathroom is past a vanity area if you walk past the second bed). On the opposite wall from the beds (to the left in the photo) is a wall of closets and a mini fridge.

And here is a photo of the two portholes. To the left is a sealed off room that is probably the size of a small bedroom or large bathroom.

We were on deck A. If you're planning on staying at the QM, it's worth it to ask for a larger room. I have a review of our stay floating around somewhere on CC (unless it's been removed) with more information about our stay.

Thanks for sharing your pics. We had only planned to visit the QM but we may look into staying here pre-cruise. Your pics are pretty amazing and the close proximity to the pier is definitely a plus.

Just out of curiosity, is parking included in the price of the room? I know to visit it is pretty pricey to park for 1/2 day.

No, parking is not included. It's $15 a day regardless if you park in the parking garage or in the QM open lot. We just parked in the garage so the car was there and waiting for us when we returned. (that was the rate when we went in October)
