:) Anyone else on this sailing. Have done 6 or 7 cruises in the past, but this is first time on Costa. Have only done RCCL and Carnival, and am hopeful that this one measures up! Have heard mixed reviews about the food....anyone have other info?

Wish we could be there, but we're going to cruise on Mediterranea two weeks later...

We've been on Atlantica in January '04, and I almost say for sure that you'll love it! If you love Italian food... it's the place to be! (Real Italian, not Ameritalian!)

Have fun and hope you enjoy the cruise!

I have booked this cruise (in May) for the 2 of us (Jay and Sue). It's a Christmas present and he doesn't know yet that we are going! Cannot wait! Just returned from the QM2 and am really looking forward to something different. Trust me, it cannot be worse than QM2, esp for the value. Have never sailed on Costa but I'll bet it will be fantastic!

We just booked this cruise, (too good a deal to pass up) We 'll be ready to leave the winter by Jan 16. We are a couple, 60ish and active. We have cruised several times before on differant lines and have never had a bad cruise. Keep the information coming. We were told we'll be in cat. 6? whatever that means.

Hi ; We are booked for Jan 23rd. Have been looking for fellow cruisers for that date but have not found any yet!!! We are around your age. The last cruise we went on in June 2004, Caribbean Princess, was loaded with kids. Little and big. Thats why we booked Jan 23. I guess they will be in school.

Nothing against kids, but you could not get into the pools they were so crowded. And they were in places they should not be like the casinos and late night shows.

That was on Princess, which we love. Never did Costa before. We are booked through Perillo in Catagory 10 cabin. If you go to Costacruises.com you can get a tour of the ship and cabins.

We are in the process of booking tonight. Good deal, and we're ready for a new cruise line (HAL, CCL, Celebrity & RCL). Too bad it's going to ports we've done before...

Canadian Winter is descending - time to get out of Dodge.

See you there!

We booked through Vacations to go. they have great deck plans on their site.

*****.com.

We too will be leaving the frigid northeast weather, although it hasn't been too bad so far. It was 50 yesterday and raining, so much for a white Christmas. We will have to come up with a place to meet onboard and a way to identify each other.

Have a very Merry Christmas!
