Robrph Posted November 11, 2004 #1 Share Posted November 11, 2004 Anyone with recommendations for a SF hotel pre-cruise? We're thinking of staying in the Fisherman's Wharf area. Anyone with experience with Priceline in this area? Thanks. Rob
dosi Posted November 11, 2004 #2 Share Posted November 11, 2004 Rob I got the Hyatt Fishermans Wharf in May on Priceline. I bid $65 or $60 on 3* in the Fishermans Wharf zone. Good luck.
dogsdogs Posted November 12, 2004 #3 Share Posted November 12, 2004 We stayed at the Hyatt on FW 9/30-10/5/04. We got the room on priceline for $70 per night. It was a great hotel and the staff was very gracious and efficient. They let us check in at 1:00 pm. The king room was small, but very clean. I would stay there again. There is a Walgreen's and a Safeway within walking distance. Have a great time on your cruise.
Robrph Posted November 18, 2004 Author #4 Share Posted November 18, 2004 thanks for your input. Tried $65 for 3* but was refused. I think it was because we need only one night and on the weekend. Will try again. Rob
saw1953 Posted November 21, 2004 #5 Share Posted November 21, 2004 We stayed at the Buena Vista Motor Inn on Lombard Street. It's not a high end highrise hotel but the rooms are clean and the staff is wonderful. It is within walking distance of Fisherman's Wharf and a cab ride to any other part of the city is around $10. The price was around $85 a night which is a great rate in San Francisco. Check out Trip Advisor for reviews.
Oppgaard Posted November 22, 2004 #6 Share Posted November 22, 2004 Has anyone stayed at the Radisson on Fisherman's Wharf? We have made reservations there since we are meeting others in our group there. Would appreciate any feed back on the hotel for those of you that have stayed there. kelmac Posted November 22, 2004 #7 Share Posted November 22, 2004 Got two nights at the Hilton Union Square. Bid $79 western Union Square area. I was very pleased! Just around the corner from or favorite restuarant, "Kuletos" on Powell street. Enjoy! Kel
