What are the cabin doors made of? (Legend)

Sailing on the Legend soon and was thinking about hanging a wipe board or something on our door - we have 11 people over 5 cabins, so it would be great for leaving each other messages.

 

Are the doors metal? I was thinking about getting one with a magnet.

No problem...while magnets work great..keep in mind that there may be mischievous people around...LOL

Be prepared for random messages from fellow cruisers. Not all of them will be "family" friendly either. There are also mailboxes (kind like hold a medical file) outside each cabin, so notes can be put in there too as an idea.

And yes, I have heard magnets often go missing.

Nest to each cabin is a little mailbox.

I'd leave a tablet and pen in there for messages.

If you are afraid of someone taking it, then somehow tie it onto the mailbox (which has holes in it).
