starrian Posted December 31, 2008 #1 Share Posted December 31, 2008 I would like to print copies of the deck plans (Norwegian Sky) to take on my cruise. Does anyone know a way to do that?
garycarla Posted December 31, 2008 #2 Share Posted December 31, 2008 A few ways, but... they will provide a nice clean copy when you board. And, they have them posted on every floor. but, if you still want to waste the time ( I have done it more than once),you can a) sometimes you can right click on a picture and save it to your hard drive as a picture. Then insert that picture into some software like word, powerpoint, etc. etc and adjust it for printing b) You can always do a screen print by pressing PRNT SCRN button on your keyboard. Then go to some software on your computer and PASTE that image into it.

flashdog_1 Posted December 31, 2008 #8 Share Posted December 31, 2008 The copy of the deck plans they give you on board is so tiny that you might need the larger one printed from your computer. I go to one of the online travel websites who have clearer deck plans and just hit print for each floor.

Also, when you walk onboard, you will receive a pocket size one that is great. It has all the important phone numbers onboard, and restaurant cover charges as well. Perhaps I missed them, but I don't recall even seeing anyone with them on my sailing a month ago.
Toyz711 Posted December 31, 2008 #12 Share Posted December 31, 2008 we had them with the paperwork, on the bed..when we 1st got to the cabin. usually you can find them on racks around customer service. it's nice that they are pocket size, but i do need my reading glasses to read them. i prefer the maps by the elevators, i can see that without my glasses. Globaliser Posted January 2, 2009 #13 Share Posted January 2, 2009 I would like to print copies of the deck plans (Norwegian Sky) to take on my cruise. Does anyone know a way to do that? http://www.ncl.eu/web/images/deckplan/Deutsch/Deckplan_sky.pdf Save the PDF file and print if you want. And if you want to do it deck by deck, go to http://www.ncl.co.uk and navigate to the ship's page, and then click on each deck. It will open up a deck plan in a pop-up window. These are GIF image files, which you can then save onto your computer and print using any image/photo software that you have. The Flash objects on NCL's main US site are very irritating, particularly because they can't be printed, but it's good to have these alternative resources on other parts of the NCL website. They are not my captions. Please keep quiet about the pictures they were removed from the picture thread of this board.
